The Costa Coffee story began back in 1971 when Sergio and Bruno arrived in London with a burning desire to make great tasting coffee a part of everyday life.

Setting up a small roastery in Newport Street, they committed to crafting the finest quality coffee.

It was here the Costa brothers blind-tested 112 variations of coffee before they tasted one good enough to be our signature blend. They named it ‘Mocha Italia’ and it remains our signature blend to this day.

The perfect combination

The warm, welcoming atmosphere, the great range of authentic coffee drinks and professionally trained baristas make Costa store different to the other coffee shops.  In our cafeterias you will find a wide variety of hot and cold coffee drinks, smoothies, freshly squeezed fruit juices, desserts, pastries, sandwiches, salads, and combo menus.

Hand making cup of coffee is an art. It takes time and skill to perfect. That is why every single barista, in every single Costa store is professionally trained in the art of coffee by our experts, so you will get a perfect cup of coffee every time.

COSTA in Bulgaria
The first Costa Coffee shop in Bulgaria was opened late in December 2006. All stores here are operated by Coffee Life Ltd. – a franchise partner of Costa Coffee in Bulgaria. Today, Coffee Life Ltd. operates a coffee chain of 19 cafeterias around the country in the cities- Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, and the resort Sunny Beach.
